This video develops from my previous projects, the topic of which could be summarized as „Homeperformance”. I focused on a particular person performing a certain specific activity, but gradually, I started to lose onterest in the person and concentrated rather on the activity, which the given person is performing with a certain amount of absurdity. In this way I proceeded to a certain amount of absurdity. In this way I proceeded to a certain principle. To be specific, this video is based on one of the gardener’s lessons or rather canons: „Do not step into the flowerbed”, or „...everybody knows you are not supposed to step into the flowerbed”. These are quite descriptive, it reports the given action step, in a film style of narration. The camera is a voyeur, these is no description of what the person performing in the film can see.
